YOUTH
Becoming a youth and cadet member is the beginning of the road as a surf lifesaver. You will learn basic surf awareness skills, as well as how to perform rescues and work in a patrol setting. Each patrol has experienced members, and this is a great way to learn how to become a lifesaver, meet new people and keep our amazing beach safe!
Our youth members (U14 to U17) are the future leaders of the surf life saving movement, thus we want to provide opportunities for them to learn and develop new skills to not only become better surf lifesavers, but also contributors to their local communities.
