My name is Julie Bain and I am married to Paul. We have 3 beautiful daughters, Megan 17, Abbey 15 and Alyssa 13. I first joined the City of Bunbury SLSC as a parent when my eldest daughter was 6 and a Minnow. I currently work at Picton Primary School as the Manager Corporate Services and prior to that worked in Banking for 23 years . I was previously on the CoBSLSC Board of Directors from 2012 - 2016 as the Director of Finance and was happy to take the role on again in 2019. I love the culture of our club and what if offers my family, by way of educating them about beach safety, while forging lifelong friendships. It is also a way for my children to give back to the community they have grown up in by patrolling our beaches and keeping beachgoers safe.

Jeff and his family joined the club in 2011 after moving from Victoria where they had been members of Anglesea SLSC. The Saffy family has had several years enjoying all the City of Bunbury has to offer including Sunday Nippers, Country Champs, States and Aussies. They also love nothing more than a family friendly Friday night having a drink on the deck while watching the sun set over Back Beach. The Saffy’s have had the privilege of developing their life-saving skills through training programs accessible to all members and have had great fun patrolling the beaches with good friends. The COBSLSC is a wonderful community and Deb is looking forward to welcoming new members in the upcoming season and helping the club continue being a place where we all come together
